Parasites are organisms which live on or inside another organism to the detriment of the host. Unfortunately some of these parasites can also effect humans so preventative parasite control is important for the health of pet as well as the health of your family. We urge you only to use treatments which we know to have been proven to be effective and safe .We will discuss your animals worming requirements at vaccinations and advise you on the most effective and appropriate treatment with one of our veterinary nurses.

External parasites such as fleas, ticks, lice and mites aren’t just an annoyance. They can also cause serious skin problems, anemia and can also spread life threatening diseases.

Internal parasites (worms and protozoa) inhabit the host’s body tissue. Young dogs and cats are routinely infected with internal parasites sometimes without any apparent evidence of the infestation until it is too late.
